DESIGN INSPIRATION: Onsen

Truly unique the Onsen allows you to have house plants AND cupboard space. No more watering cans, jugs or other apparatus; just a simply stunning vase that seamless morphs when plants need watering. 

Inspired by a Scandinavian spa retreat of the same name; a series of circular wooden baths overlook the Shotover River that curves through the valley below. Sweeping the bath-like forms through the arch of the river give the main form of the Onsen. Rippling water fuses the two aspects and gives the sense of being created naturally by the user each time the vase spout is transformed.
